Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: May 2026
Jurisdiction: Cayman Islands


This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs all payments, registrations, subscriptions, bookings, deposits, memberships, and purchases made through Ascension Football Group, including but not limited to:

  • Ascension Academy

  • Ascension FC

  • Ascension Media

  • The Ascension Vault

  • Showcases

  • ID camps

  • Tournaments

  • Events

  • Merchandise

  • Digital services

  • Subscriptions


By completing any payment through our websites, platforms, or affiliated services, you acknowledge and agree to this Policy.
 

1. General Policy

All payments made to Ascension Football Group are final and non-refundable except where expressly stated in this Policy or where required by applicable Cayman Islands law.

This policy exists due to:

  • limited roster capacity,

  • operational planning,

  • staffing commitments,

  • facility reservations,

  • travel arrangements,

  • media production costs,

  • scouting allocations,

  • and digital infrastructure expenses incurred immediately upon registration.

2. Academy Membership Fees

     2.1 Monthly Memberships

Monthly academy fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable once payment has been processed.

Failure to attend training sessions, voluntary withdrawal, scheduling conflicts, relocation, suspension, injury, illness, or change of personal circumstances shall not entitle a participant to a refund.

     2.2 Cancellation of Membership

Membership cancellations must be submitted in writing to:

Cancellation requests must be received at least fourteen (14) days before the next billing cycle.

Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in the next scheduled payment being charged.

     2.3 Failed Payments

Ascension reserves the right to:

  • suspend participation,

  • restrict access to services,

  • or terminate membership

  • for overdue or failed payments.


Users remain responsible for any unpaid balances, administrative costs, or collection expenses incurred.

3. Showcase, ID Camp & Trial Registrations

     3.1 Non-Refundable Registrations

All showcase, trial, combine, and ID camp registration fees are strictly non-refundable.

This includes situations involving:

  • injury,

  • illness,

  • travel complications,

  • visa issues,

  • weather conditions,

  • scheduling conflicts,

  • disciplinary removal,

  • or personal circumstances.


Registration secures a limited evaluation position and operational resources are allocated immediately upon booking.

     3.2 Event Cancellation by Ascension

If Ascension Football Group cancels an event entirely and does not reschedule it, participants may receive either:

  • a full refund; or

  • event credit toward a future Ascension event, at Ascension’s sole discretion.


     3.3 Rescheduled Events

If an event is postponed or rescheduled due to:

  • weather,

  • force majeure,

  • facility issues,

  • government restrictions,

  • travel disruption,

  • safety concerns,

  • or circumstances beyond reasonable control,


all registrations shall automatically transfer to the rescheduled date.

Refunds shall not be required.

4. Tournament Tickets & Event Passes

All ticket sales, tournament passes, VIP passes, and event admissions are final.

No refunds will be issued for:

  • missed matches,

  • schedule changes,

  • partial attendance,

  • player withdrawals,

  • team withdrawals,

  • weather delays,

  • or personal inability to attend.

5. Deposits

Any deposit paid to secure:

  • roster positions,

  • academy spots,

  • tournament participation,

  • sponsorship placements,

  • media opportunities,

  • or future enrollment


is non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

Deposits reserve limited availability and compensate Ascension for administrative and operational commitments.

6. The Ascension Vault

     6.1 Subscription Services

Subscriptions for Ascension Vault are billed in advance on a recurring basis.

Except where required by law:

  • subscription payments are non-refundable,

  • partially used billing periods are non-refundable,

  • and unused time shall not be credited.


     6.2 User Cancellation

Users may cancel subscription renewals at any time through their account settings or by written request before the next renewal date.

Cancellation prevents future billing only and does not generate refunds for prior charges.

     6.3 Account Suspension

Ascension reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in:

  • abuse,

  • fraud,

  • unauthorized sharing,

  • data scraping,

  • chargeback abuse,

  • or violations of platform rules.


No refunds shall be provided for suspended or terminated accounts.

7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Initiating fraudulent or improper chargebacks constitutes a breach of these Terms.

Ascension Football Group reserves the right to:

  • dispute all chargebacks,

  • provide transaction records and policy acceptance logs,

  • suspend associated accounts,

  • deny future participation,

  • and pursue recovery of unpaid balances and related costs.


Users agree that acceptance of this Policy forms part of the payment authorization process.

8. Medical Exceptions

Refund requests based on serious medical circumstances may be reviewed solely at Ascension’s discretion.

Supporting medical documentation may be required.

Approval of any exception shall not establish precedent for future cases.

9. Force Majeure

Ascension Football Group shall not be liable for cancellation, delay, interruption, or modification caused by events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • hurricanes,

  • tropical storms,

  • pandemics,

  • government action,

  • civil unrest,

  • travel restrictions,

  • power outages,

  • internet disruptions,

  • labor disputes,

  • or acts of God.


Under such circumstances, refunds may be denied and credits or rescheduling may be offered instead.

10. Processing of Approved Refunds

Where refunds are approved:

  • processing may take between 7–21 business days,

  • refunds shall be returned only to the original payment method,

  • and processing fees, banking fees, currency conversion fees, and third-party transaction costs may be deducted where legally permissible.

11. Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Cayman Islands.

Any dispute arising from payments, refunds, cancellations, or transactions shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Cayman Islands.
